Chicken Wings!

Hello everyone!

So easter was here in Sweden which means a lot of delicious food! Though I did not make any I still ate a lot. One thing I did make though was crispy, tender chicken wings without frying them!
Magical! And its quite simple...
Ingredients:
1 kg chicken wings, divided as below
 1 tsp Smokey paprika
2 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper

Sriracha
honey
sesame oil

carrots
blue cheese
celery
creme fraiche
mayonnaise

Firstly do your blue cheese dipping sauce... I don't got any meassurments here since I go by taste.. but mix crumbled blue cheese, creme fraiche, some mayo and salt and pepper to taste. Do this preferable 1 day a head so the blue cheese gets a chance to really spread it flavor to the entire dip!

Then we do the wings when its food time! (Takes about 1 hour to complete the recipe)
Put oven at 220 degrees Celsius.
Mix pepper, salt, paprika and baking powder.
Cover wings in mixture, thoroughly!

Put into oven and flip wings ever 20 minutes, everyone on of them!
For about 1 hour, until crispy deliciousness! They won't look good the first few times you flip them! But the baking powder will react with the fat from the wings and give them an awesome crust!

They should look like this when done:

Then take out your glaze ingredients!

And mix:
1/3 cup honey
1/3 Sriracha
1/4 tsp sesame oil

Then coat your wings with that lovely, sweet, hot sauce that is perfectly balanced I think...

And serve with some carrots and celery to dip into the blue cheese dressing!

This was really really cool and good. The baking powder really crisped up that surface and the meat just fell off the bone while the sticky glaze was a perfect mix between sweet and spicy.
Really love to have a blue cheese dressing by the side like this as well, if it gets to spicy you can dip a cold vegetable into the dip to cool down your pallet and reset the taste buds a bit...

Will def be making again but next time 50% bbq wings and 50% honey Sriracha wings! :)

//Stay full my friends!
